Dog Meets World Foto of the Week: Girl in Uganda
Recent college graduate Marti Johnson is spending a year of her life working for an orphanage in Kampala, Uganda. Recently suffering through her second bout of malaria, she is ever intrepid and committed to making a difference in the world. She undertook to practice Dog Meets World (DMW) with the level 6 students in her Project Perspectives class, a program she hopes to continue to develop.
She said the students were soooo incredibly excited about starting DMW and have Ugandan children pose with Foto, the mascot. She explained that children all around the world have participated and that they were going to help capture the children of Uganda.... and then the printing- they watched every single picture come out!
Dog Meets World is a simple and easy way to establish connections with local communities and to create positive cross-cultural interactions and give back when you travel. Join the movement, become a phodographer today!
