We didn’t know exactly what to expect when we walked into our favourite place, Miller Auditorium at Western Michigan University. We talked about all of the possibilities while walking in, but knew it would be centered around getting us into the holiday spirit, hence the name: Cirque Dreams Holidaze.

This show exceeded all expectations.

The performance included brightly colored sets, costumes, and characters. It was a visual extravaganza. 

There were three powerful singers, who, while dressed in gorgeous costumes, were actually the backbone of the show. The vocals for each performance section were soaring, extraordinary, and added to the overall energetic atmosphere. We were constantly amazed.

We especially loved the roller skating couple, balancing penguin, flying stars, and more than we could ever fit into an article. But let me tell you how impressed we were with the lifetimes of training and athletic ability packed into this show. Every performer dripped with talent and joie de’ vivre.

Every moment was filled with suspense. What would they do next was what everyone was whispering to each other, while their eyes still glued to the bright, holiday-themed stage.
