Beaches and Reefs of Indonesia
Indonesia is famous around the world for its spectacular beaches, islands, and reefs. Hundreds of species of fish, sea cucumber, and coral are native to Indonesia, which makes it a snorkeling and diving hotspot for adventure lovers around the world.
No matter where you go, the snorkeling tends to be excellent! As with many things, the best possible way to find the perfect snorkeling or diving location near you is to ask a local. They are much more likely to know where it’s safe, easily accessed, and most beautiful. The locals are also often quite eager to help you to charter a private boat to the best sites, which are unfortunately often too far from shore to swim to. My family used this option on more than one occasion. Want to see some of the reefs for yourself?

Great post!
Being a diver, I love warm, clear tropical water that is teeming with creatures to see. The far western Pacific area is hands-down the best place to go. Forget the Caribbean, too crowded, expensive, and over-rated. Skip Hawaii, way too expensive, crowded, and over-rated. If you make it out to Indonesia, the western Pacific Islands (Fiji!), then you will experience diving and snorkeling in the best the ocean can offer. Your pictures make me want to get back that way soon. Thank you.
