Dog Meets World Foto of the Week: a PCV in Costa Rica
Dog Meets World (DMW) is thrilled that Peace Corps Volunteers (PCV) like Kathryn Rouillard working in Costa Rica have found that the photo project has brought more meaning to their service.
After her first experience with DMW Kathryn wrote:
I just wanted to send a quick note to tell you how thrilled I am to be part of the DMW project. I took the printer and Foto out for a spin this morning in a poor barrio. The experience was made even more meaningful by the fact that I had a Peace Corps trainee visiting. Out of the 11 children photographed, 9 were presented with their first photo this morning. I am still coming down from one of the highest highs I have experienced thus far as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica.
Wow, Dog Meets World was founded to encourage just such interactions across cultures.
Dog Meets World is a simple and easy way to establish connections with local communities and to create positive cross-cultural interactions and give back when you travel. Join the movement, become a phodographer today!
