We've got a GREAT new restaurant to share with you today!

If you're ever in the Dayton, Ohio area, this is THE BEST CHINESE FOOD in the area. It was even voted so in a reader poll for Dayton Daily News. But I digress. Let's get into the food!

Tsao's Cuisine is located in a small strip mall near the base. It was very busy while we were there.

Head inside, and you'll notice the clean and well-decorated interior. There are the usual Chinese decorations, but also notice the very cool black and white photos on the wall. LOVELY!

There's an extensive menu, but also play attention to the white board of specials behind the counter. There are some unique dishes there, including a cold conch dish. My wife ordered the rock salt shrimp and LOVED it. She asked for it not spicy, and when it came with jalapenos, they took it back and fixed it with no complaint. Good thing - she's a no-flames kind of eater.

I ordered my traditional pork and garlic sauce, which gives me a baseline to the quality of a restaurant's cuisine. It's been my experience that if they get the pork and garlic sauce right, everything else on the menu will follow. mmm - good. I would give this pork and garlic sauce a 9 out of 10! Excellent flavor, the perfect ratio of pork to vegetables, and the most important part, a delicious and flavorful garlic sauce.

You can add an egg roll, soup, and cream cheese wontons to any dish for $2.75 - a steal. I highly recommend this.

My daughter is a cream cheese wonton/crabmeat rangoon aficionado. These were the best she'd ever had, she loudly exclaimed.
