In many ways, it is two books in one: the first part of the book focuses
on Ryan’s initial trips, and the friends she made and situations she
encountered. The second half has more to do with the political side of
things, informed by Ryan’s on the ground experiences living in Northern
Ireland, and her access to those involved in the day to day politics of
the north.
