Try the World
Ever wanted to explore some global cuisines - at home? Or perhaps send treats that you love, to friends and family? I've found a new company for you that does just that.
Try the World sends boxes of goodies from different countries around the world to your door (or some lucky recipient!).
We received the Paris box to review. Inside, you'll find:
The best cocoa you've ever had - rich and robust, from Les Confitures a l'Ancienne
Three samples of incredible tea - I got Fleur de Geisha, Thé des Moinnes, and Thé du Hammam (my new favorite) from Le Palais Des Thés
Two pots of jam from Alain Milliat - Abricot Bergeron (Apricot) and Myrtle Sauvage (Wild Blueberry) - that paired well with the crepes we made.
A stamped Paris postcard to send
A Baudelaire poem, in both English and French
and suggestions for a playlist - including 3 classic songs and 3 contemporary songs.
Crepe with Alain Milliat Wild Blueberry Jam, and Thé du Hammam from Le Palais Des Thés
Crepe with Alain Milliat Apricot Jam, and Cocoa from Les Confitures a l'Ancienne
What do we think? Well, we had an afternoon from France today, and made crepes, had a cup of tea and a mug of coffee, and were deliciously transported.

Note: thanks so much to Try the World for our Paris Box - it's delicious!
