Photo Fridays: A Longing for Spring's Color and Warmth
After last week's too-short glimpse of spring, winter has come back with a vengeance. Brisk, cold winds, blizzards, ice fishermen back out on the frozen lake, and bundling up again. The good news is that the snow is fresh and packable (read: snowmen!).
Here are some photos of spring on my parents farm, to help with the chill of winter.
Fruit tree in bud
Chickens enjoying the warmth of the sun
Blue spring sky
Early harvest
Our dog in a small pond in the field, chasing tadpoles
A garter snake, seeking warmth as well
Rhubarb - spring is here!!
More fruit blossoms
The dandelion's golden mane
With a glimpse of color and warmth, we can hold on just a little bit longer, and enjoy winter - and the promise of spring.

I was out in my yard the other day, checking to see if I had crocuses blooming yet. No...
Thanks for sharing your signs of spring, though.
