Mihailo Radičević hearkens from Serbia and describes himself as a ‘Holistic Photographer’. It is this combination of passion, diversity, skill, and humour, that have brought him over 1.5 million followers on Google Plus. Mihailo’s images cover a multitude of styles while remaining intimately his. From street, to waterfall, candid, to directed, he presents an eye on the world, not seen anywhere else. It is my pleasure this month, the first of what will be a glorious year, to guide your wandering eyes to the work and whimsy of Mihailo Radičević.

How did you get interested in photography?

A couple of years ago I decided to get a camera and start spending some time trying to capture the world around me. I’ve been interested in arts all my life, but photography is something that suits me the best.

How long have you been a photographer?

3-4 years ...

What is your favorite place to photograph? Or subject?

I like to visit abandoned villages in rural areas of Serbia because they are full of motives and interesting people and it's something that always inspire me. Also documenting these things is something that needs to be done because they are quickly perishing.

How can photographers help change/impact the world, while they are traveling?

I’m trying to find that out myself.

Are there rules in other countries people need to be aware of about who or what you can or cannot shoot?

I think you need to use common sense and not shoot things that are forbidden :)
