‘SIP and SAVOR’ Otown-style
August 5 to 18
It WAS known as “Restaurant Week,” but this year it has a new name, and bars have been added to this uniquely neighborhood “foodie” event. Designed to get us into area restaurants during this summertime ‘slow’ period, it’s a great time to try that restaurant – or bar – where the menu looked a bit too pricey before. Pretty much any neighborhood that has its’ own name (e.g. College Park, Mills 50, or Thornton Park) has eateries taking part. Varying widely, most offerings include a drink and entrée – or some variation of same. TIME is of the essence, however, so plan your hunger (or thirst) for offerings that begin at LUNCH for $5 !!! Visit sipandsavorotown.com for participating restaurants (and menus).

George Bernard Shaw, master of wit and social comment, chronicles the demise of the leisure class in his favorite play. Call 407.297.8788 or visit madcowtheatre.com
