In 2014, Bryanna Royal and her family of 6 hit the road full-time in an RV to explore North America. During this time, she built 2 remote businesses, had epic adventures, and spent many nights around the campfire. She speaks at events on RVing and being an entrepreneur, along with producing content to inspire others to get on the road with their family. 

In her new book, she covers so many critical aspects of moving to this lifestyle, including decisions, costs, how to earn a living on the road, picking a rig, downsizing and what you actually need, insurance, mail, school, community, sports, holidays, pets, and the #1 thing that stops people from pursuing this life change. Please tell us about your new book, Full-Time RVing With Kids: An Insider's Guide To Life On The Road...
The book is a combination of tips on how to get on the road mixed in with real life stories, along with thoughts and feelings while you are on the road. This lifestyle is amazing, but also has its ups and downs. The idea with the book was to show all aspects of that. It is 26 chapters packed full of information to help you get on the road full-time with your family and to better understand what this lifestyle is all about. 

What inspired you to write this book?
I have been wanting to write this book for years! People ask us for advice and want to understand how everything works all the time. By writing a book, I can present them with an option that has all of these answers in one place. I also hope it will inspire others to get on the road—and give them the know-how and the push to do it! 

What were the joys and challenges of writing this, for you?
The challenges were figuring out how to lay it out and actually writing it! I am not a writer naturally, and much prefer speaking. This meant it was very challenging to sit down and get into words on paper what I would say if I were speaking to someone. Multiple people have said that reading the book felt like they were sitting next to me at a campfire. That was an amazing compliment to hear, and was definitely how I wanted the book to come across. 

The joy was getting it finished! And saying I was an author and had written a book, and sharing that with my kids!

What might people be surprised to learn about family RVing?
The amount of emotions and growth that happens to each of us individually and as a family through this lifestyle. 

What are your top tips for a family looking to explore RVing?
Don't overthink everything. There is almost always a way to figure things out. If you want to get an RV and try it out, go for it! If you want to move into an RV full-time, go for it! Your ducks will never all be in a row—but if you want it bad enough, you just have to figure out how to make it happen.

I know this lifestyle isn't for everyone. But if you are considering it, I highly recommend getting the book and reading it—and by the end, you will know if this is the lifestyle you want to pursue with your family or not...and you will have the tools to start to make it happen.
