Global Experiences is seeking to hire an Assistant Director of Institutional
Relationships at our main office in Annapolis, Maryland.  The ideal
candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced individual to grow our
network of higher education relationships and strategic partnerships. The
position involves working with the current catalog of university and
colleges, and to develop a strategy to expand relationships both through on
campus recruiting as well as formalized agreements with institutions of
higher learning. This position will also act as the face of Global
Experiences at national conferences and fairs, public presentations and will
involve managing and planning for these events throughout the year. Domestic
and some international travel will be required.

Minimum Experience Required
       Minimum 3 years relevant experience
       Bachelor's Degree
       Experience working in higher education and or study abroad programs
       Customer service and quality driven
       Sales and business development track record
       Preference given to those with existing contacts and knowledge of
the US higher education and study abroad community

Job Responsibilities

The Director of Institutional Partnerships will work to expand enrollment in
the company's international internship and teaching English programs through
marketing to a large network of higher education institutions in North
America and around the world. This person will be responsible for managing
all conference planning for study abroad fairs, national industry fairs,
communicating directly with university representatives, formalizing
relationships with colleges and universities, and related duties. The role
will work closely with the sales team to understand the market and keep them
engaged in new relationships and systems for incorporating new relationships
into the sales process. In addition to business development tasks the
partner manager will also be expected to develop a student ambassador
program as well as an alumni program to expand the word of mouth created by
participants in our programs and to create more exposure of the company and
its programs.

This position will be based at the Annapolis , Maryland headquarters, but
will involve domestic travel and some international travel.
