Lake Wales Arts Council Inc. Announces “Into the Woods We Go!” Children’s Interactive Exhibit

Lake Wales, FL, April, 2009 - The Lake Wales Arts Council, Inc. is pleased to present “Into the Woods We Go!” a Children’s Interactive Exhibit.  The public is cordially invited to attend the Opening Reception on Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The exhibit will be on display in the Michael Crews Gallery at the Lake Wales Arts Center through June 19, 2009.

“Into the Woods We Go!” will include fairy tale themed art pieces by various local artists as well as a variety of interactive activities for children including a stage with an audience where children can dress up and act out their own fairytale, create royal crowns to wear, construct fairy tale castles out of Legos, make hand-held puppets and many more creative and inspiring activities.  

This Exhibit is generously sponsored by the Ruth V. Marchione Foundation, Publix Super Markets Charities and an anonymous donor.
