Last summer, my students and I read The Hobbit together. It had been 30 years since I’d read it. I have to admit, I reveled in the classic story, long buried in my brain under years of reading. As you know, it is a classic tale of a quest; a long, life-changing journey. The travelers have to battle (and avoid) various creatures, traverse extraordinarily vast plains, wend their way through mountain paths, and pursue their quest across Middle Earth.

While Barcelona has recently been in the news for its secessionist politics, this has hardly made the city less attractive to tourists and international students.

Using Your Travel Knowledge to Help Students Access Foreign Universities

One of the best things about being an educator is the fact that we are continually learning and striving to improve our knowledge base. We regularly categorise our experiences and store them for later, trying to gain as much as we can from each experience, and always thinking about our own teachable moments.
