Travel doesn’t need to be expensive! This is especially true in Florence, Italy. Whether you’re a college student studying abroad, a faculty member on sabbatical, looking for family travel activities that don’t break the bank, or a budget-minded traveler, finding the free is ALWAYS a good thing, so that you have room in your travel budget for accommodations, interesting tours, and, of course, great food.

Visiting Texas? Don’t come and simply dine on Mexican food and barbecue, although both are Lone Star State mainstays. Instead, say Bonjour to French crepes. Texas has an ongoing love affair with the iconic pancake from France.

Vacations are supposed to be when you get away from the stress and worry of daily life. You want to have fun and kick back while the real world goes on its merry way without you for a few days. The harsh truth is that the real world doesn't take a break for you or anyone else because you're on vacation. Disasters can still happen, houses get robbed, and cars are stolen right from the driveway or airport long term parking. The last thing anyone wants to do after coming home from a lovely vacation is filling out police reports.
