One of my favorite ways to practice Japanese is by counting!

Now, here is a good way to learn how to count in Japanese from 1-10.

The numbers are: ichi, ni, san, shi, go, roku, shichi, hachi, kyu, ju.

On Japanese TV, there are really funny clips about ten little sticks that reshape themselves.

It is called Juppon Anime, and I love them.  There is one where they turn into a flyswatter, to try to swat the fly. He gets away, and so they turn into a can of bug spray. He gets away. At the end, the fly drops down.

There are many Juppon Anime videos, but most of them are gone from youtube.

Here is one that I found. In this video, they turn into a giraffe to eat the apples from a high tree, they make an elevator to get up a cliff, and are happy when they make it!  They also go off the cliff as a hang glider and a little helicopter.

Don't fast forward it at the end, because at the end of this video, there is a great trick.

This is a very funny and silly video. The songs are funny.  I hope you enjoy it!
