Ranomafana village, Madagscar
Ranomafana National Park is a park established by Patricia Wright to help conserve the beautiful forests of Madagascar and to help save lemurs. Down the road from the park is a small town called Ranomafana.
Ranomafana is Malagasy for ‘hot water’. It got its name from the hot water springs that surround it. The small town has manages to be extremely busy, despite its small size. Worth visiting for the crafts sold there, as well as the weekly market day.
