We didn’t know exactly what to expect when we walked into our favourite place, Miller Auditorium at Western Michigan University. We talked about all of the possibilities while walking in, but knew it would be centered around getting us into the holiday spirit, hence the name: Cirque Dreams Holidaze.

The holidays are well underway at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Their annual Christmas and Holiday Traditions Around The World exhibition features more than 40 holiday trees and displays from around the globe. This magical time of year includes glow of 300,000 lights, unique hand-made ornaments and blossoming holiday plantings.

Sunday, December 11, is winter holiday festival time in Norfolk, CT, where the town's merchants start celebrating at 10 a.m. with a day of extended store hours, dining specials, wreaths and trees, and special musical events.
